About Profound Growth - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Using tools, research, and practices that help people understand what’s happening in the brain when they are stuck, overwhelmed, and uninspired and showing them how the inner workings of what’s “under the hood” has a direct impact on their behavior, emotions, and actions. This helps them understand each other better as a team and this creates more understanding and better communication.

  • It uses scientific evidence to educate, normalize and show light on why we do and say the things we do and say. As a Neurotransformational Coach, I have learned to listen to where the client’s brain and body are out of synch and I can use an approach that directly impacts that part. And we can provide tools for our clients that they can use in everyday life for sustainable forward movement. Classical coaching provides fewer tools and rarely uses scientific evidence of why things happen. There is certainly nothing wrong with that but it is limited in its impact and effectiveness. When teams learn these processes and apply these tools they develop a team language that connects and helps overcome challenges and obstacles.

  • Neuroscience helps us understand why we end up in ineffective patterns of behavior. This awareness helps us with choice. Teams with ineffective behaviors create ineffective results. They can sabotage outcomes and create a disconnect. In my work neuroscience is also used as the foundation for transformation. This transformational roadmap that I use is called The Seven Levels of Effectiveness. It has a neuroscience underpinning. We now have a road map that enables us to understand where we are as individuals and as a group and what we need to do next on our leadership and team growth journey.

  • I work with leaders and their teams who want to become better, more effective versions of themselves. They want to impact the organization in healthy, powerful, and sustainable ways. People who are immensely curious and see that science is an added bonus. And they need to be willing to look inward and do the work.

  • Immediately. Coaching leads to awareness. That is huge. After the first one or two sessions, I have clients who say, "Goodness I had no idea why this is happening and now I can change it”. After that, it’s about repetitive action and thoughts - in other words, neuroplasticity that will make that sustainable. The brain gets rewired (metaphorically speaking). When teams are open to this exploration change can start happening.

  • In short….everything. The ability to be more coach-like with each other in a team through better listening, deeper questions, greater emotional intelligence, and empathy. The power to move through challenging times without losing “it” but staying present and engaged. Innovation and creativity, better goals and habits through aligned values, and a connection to personal and group relevance. Finding their true passions and purposes through the Core Passion Assessment. And finally - more ease, less stress, healthier group dynamics and this has a huge impact on the bottom line.

  • The team leader books a complimentary breakthrough session, 30-45 mins. And together we will discover what you want, what is missing, and what it would be like if this divide could be bridged. And together we can create a plan for how to tackle these challenges.

  • PayPal accounts or credit cards that are accepted by PayPal. Invoices for team development are sent via email at the beginning of the engagement/contract

  • After booking your Breakthrough Session with Ursula via email all group sessions are planned in advance depending on the needs of the team. Sessions can vary from weekly/monthly Zoom calls to in-person or virtual half-day sessions.

  • We will define the vision, set goals, and break it down into actionable steps. Team members are accountable and assignments are given. In the first session, we will define the team vision and set goals then break it down into steps. During our regular check-ins, we review goals and vision.
